Photography and Photoshop go hand in hand. Flaws in photos increase in size incrementally as you increase the size of the photo. No matter how creative you are with taking your photographs, all shots need some “tweaks” or adjustments, usually for Brightness, Contrast, Hue Saturation and Cropping as a minimum. And, some changes will make a totally startlingly transformation while others will turn a pleasant sunny day into a dark day of menacing clouds.
Learn the rudiments of Photoshop and you will have many hours of enjoyment adjusting your photos and using your imagination to create beautiful images.
Below are some examples of how Photoshop can change an image and make a good photo into a work of art. At left is the original photo without manipulation of any kind and at right is the “finished product”.
To teach Photoshop, Jill projects the images from her computer onto a large screen TV so everyone can see what she is doing. Students can bring their laptops and follow along with the projected image.
Don't forget also about Jill's Photo Workshop/Tours, a day's trip to interesting locations in this area and into Guadalajara. For more information on tours and classes (location, enrollment, etc.) and how to get Photoshop installed on your laptop.
Please call or write to find out when the next class is, and the cost, or when you can schedule a private lesson:
Classes are bilingual, English and Spanish.
